Outside School Sales Representative, Part-time
If you have experience with the educational market, with Home & School Associations, PTO, PTA's, or schools in general, then this job is for you! Join the Shane's Team with an exciting career opportunity in the educational sector! We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated, and ambitious sales professionals who have a desire to sell school products to the educational market and acquire new school districts.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm
Salary: Hourly Rate plus commission
Here's what you'll do!
- Develop lists of potential new customers and maintain an active pipeline.
- Schedule appointments with targeted decision makers within each school.
- Develop creative solutions and/or programs to identify and develop new customers.
- Acquire customers to meet or exceed incremental sales by presenting the school preferred customer program.
- Formally communicate the products and services in order to maximize business potential and educate prospects on various solutions.
- Present contracts and/or service and support commitments for customer approval
- Grow and cultivate relationships in acquired accounts to explore further sales opportunities
- Track your sales and utilize the Shane’s CRM to maintain record of your business.
Requirements:
Experience with educational markets or Volunteer Experience in Home & School Associations a must!
- High school diploma or GED minimum. College degree preferred.
- Have strong Sales Ambition & Work Ethic
- Develop creative solutions and/or programs to identify and develop new customers.
- Outgoing individual that Communicates Effectively both Written and Oral
- One to three years of successful sales experience a plus
- Account Retention Skills & Account Penetration Abilities
- Strong Time-Management skills a must
- Industry knowledge a plus but not required.
